Prajapati Ghatasutra (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your mobile number (used to log in with a WhatsApp code), name and optional email.
- Your course purchases, webinar registrations and attendance.
- Enquiries you send us through our forms, and lead forms you fill on Facebook or Instagram ads.
- Your course progress (which lessons you have watched) so we can show progress and issue certificates.
- For pandits who apply to be listed: name, mobile number, city, areas served, pujas, languages and, once approved, a photo and address.
- Payment status and reference IDs from Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
How we use it
- To give you access to the courses and webinars you register for.
- To send login codes, receipts, join links and class reminders on WhatsApp.
- To reply to your enquiries and improve our services.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the services that run this website: Razorpay (payments), Zoom (live classes), Meta (WhatsApp messages and Facebook/Instagram lead forms) and our hosting providers. We do not sell your data.
Pandit listings
A listed pandit’s name, photo, city, areas and pujas are public. Their phone number and address are shown only to visitors who pay the contact fee. Pandits agree to this when they apply, and can ask us to remove their listing at any time.
Video watermarking
To protect our teachers’ work, your name and mobile number are shown faintly over course videos while you watch.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected].
